Our last day is Sunday, August 2. (I’ve rewritten this sentence about ten times trying to make it hurt less. It doesn’t.)

Here’s where it all started: 2002, one of the first fully vegan bakeries in the entire country. People thought we were nuts. “Vegan cupcakes? That taste good?” Yeah. Yeah they do. We spent the next two decades proving it, one skeptical bite at a time.

Twenty four years, two Cupcake Wars trophies, and enough birthday cakes to fill a bakery case the size of Texas. This is where I wanted this whole goodbye to start, because it’s where the whole thing started too.
