GENERAL MANAGER
Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats, DC's premier all-vegan, woman-owned bakery is looking for a General Manager.
Base salary of $50,000, health care, parking, travel expenses, paid vacation and bonus
* Available Wednesday-Sunday
* Recent food service experience
* Proven experience in merchandising and customer service
* Reliable, hard-working and able to learn quickly
* Able to work on your feet (5+ hours)/ Lift 50 lbs
* Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude and high energy!
* Experience with and ability to organize and manage systems for purchasing, inventory, revenue and systems analysis
*Office and computer skills with common programs including Excel, Word, email, etc.
*Ability to model behavior and promote positive attitudes in order to facilitate a good work environment.
*Excellent organizational and communication skills
*Experience in hiring, training, developing, leading and motivating staff to ensure quality and consistency both in customer service and product.
*Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude. *Demonstrated ability to follow-through on commitments *Experience in creating schedules and systems for quality assurance associated with all operations *Knowledge of business management principles and practices, cost control procedures, and human resource management practices
The General Manager is responsible for the daily operations of Sticky Fingers and any issues that come up on a daily basis.
Food Handlers license a must!
FRONT COUNTER ASSOCIATE
We are looking for a full time front counter associate to join our team! Weekend availability is a must as we are open Wednesday-Sunday. Job requirements and responsibilities include:

Being friendly, outgoing, and up-beat with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service at all times

Working quickly and efficiently, often while multi-tasking

Learning our menu including ingredients and ordering processes in order to answer customer questions

Completing down-time tasks

Maintaining a clean and sanitary work station

Accurately taking and packaging orders

Crafting specialty coffee drinks

Refilling bakery case in cooperation with bakers
